No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Business & Commerce Code relating to require entities that publish sexual materials on websites to perform age verification and prohibits retention of any data after the verification process.
According to the Office of the Attorney General, any additional work resulting from the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within current resources.
