IN RE:	HB4090 by Troxclair (Relating to the use of revenue attributable to the imposition of a hotel occupancy tax by certain municipalities and counties for venue projects and the period for which certain of those taxes may be imposed.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 334 of the Local Government Code, relating to Sports and Community Venues.

The bill would add Section 334.2519 to authorize a municipality with a population of 750,000 or more that is located in a county with a population of 1.5 million or less to use municipal hotel tax under this chapter to acquire, construct, improve, and equip a venue project and related infrastructure to be constructed on real property that is part of municipal park or recreation system.
