Honorable Trent Ashby, Chair, House Committee on Culture, Recreation & Tourism
FROM:
Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board
IN RE:
HB5239 by Ashby (Relating to costs associated with the destruction of certain deer.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
Based on information provided by the Parks and Wildlife Department, it is assumed that costs incurred by the agency as a result of waiving costs billed to permit holders for the destruction of deer could be covered using existing resources. It is also assumed that the loss of revenues that would be realized in waiving these costs would be insignificant.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
