Pursuant to a notice posted on April 5, 2023, the House Committee on Corrections met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Herrero, at 3:52 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Herrero; Kacal; Allen; Jones, Venton; Lopez, Ray; Sherman, Sr.; Swanson; and Toth.
