Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 18, 2023, and permission granted on May 18, 2023, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Natural Resources met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative King, Tracy O., at 2:02 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives King, Tracy O.; Thompson, Ed; Kacal; Kitzman; Lalani; Metcalf; Price; Ramos; Rogers; and Zwiener.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

The chair directed that the May 11, 2023 minutes for the House Committee on Natural Resources be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

The chair laid out SB 2052 as pending business.

 

The chair moved that SB 2052, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
