Pursuant to suspension of Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Administration was held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, in the Betty King Committee Room at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 11:02 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

The chair laid out the recommended list of bills for placement of the Local and Uncontested Calendar to be held on May 24, 2023.

Senator Springer moved that the list of bills recommended for placement on the Local & Uncontested Calendar to be held on May 24, 2023 be certified. The motion carried with a record vote of 6 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 1 absent.

There being no further business, at 11:05 AM Senator Hall moved that the Committee be adjourned subject to the call of the Chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
