R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Ina Glasberg of
  Needham, Massachusetts, were deeply saddened by her passing on
  November 19, 2024; and
         WHEREAS, The former Ina Davis grew up with three brothers,
  Mel, Stan, and Peter, and earned a degree in education at Boston
  University; she began her professional career as an elementary
  school teacher and later worked as a speech therapist; active with
  Temple Beth Shalom, she served as president of the TBS Sisterhood
  and as a member of numerous committees, and in 1989 she
  distinguished herself by becoming the first female president of the
  temple; in addition, she was a board member for the Union for Reform
  Judaism and national program chair for its 2001 Biennial Convention
  in Boston and president of the Women's Auxiliary of Hebrew
  SeniorLife; and
         WHEREAS, In all her endeavors, Mrs. Glasberg enjoyed the love
  and support of her husband, Myron Glasberg, with whom she shared a
  rewarding union of 68 years before his passing; she took great pride
  in their three children, Rhonda, Mark, and Evan, and through the
  years, she delighted in watching her cherished family grow to
  include nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild; and
         WHEREAS, Ina Glasberg lived a rich and purposeful life
  centered around her family, her faith, and her community, and she
  will be remembered with deep admiration and affection by all who
  knew her; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Ina Glasberg and
  extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her
  children, Rhonda Weiner and her husband, Jeffrey, and Mark Glasberg
  and his wife, Emily; to her grandchildren, Marley, Jacob, Zakary,
  Lindsay, Jackie, Hana, Rachel, Samuel, and Abigail; to her
  great-grandson, Harrison; and to her other relatives and friends;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Ina
  Glasberg.
