R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal |
|
|
milestones, and Bree Bearden is participating in that joyful |
|
|
occasion with her graduation from Allen High School on May 23, |
|
|
2025; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Bearden can reflect with great pride on the |
|
|
perseverance she has demonstrated in the pursuit of her goals |
|
|
throughout her high school career; she has managed a challenging |
|
|
course load that includes numerous dual credit and Advanced |
|
|
Placement classes, and she has held various leadership roles with |
|
|
the Allen chapter of the National Charity League; a competitive |
|
|
gymnast, she has further distinguished herself as a member of the |
|
|
cheerleading team, and she has been involved in organizations such |
|
|
as Peer Assistance and Leadership, the Young Life youth group, and |
|
|
Jersey Club; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Active in her community, Ms. Bearden has |
|
|
contributed to a wide range of initiatives supporting people in |
|
|
need; she has also volunteered at Cottonwood Creek Church and |
|
|
worked as a gymnastics coach and as a nanny for local families; this |
|
|
fall, she plans to attend the University of Arkansas to pursue a |
|
|
degree in pre-nursing; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |
|
|
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join her family and |
|
|
friends in recognizing her as she embarks on a future bright with |
|
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Bree Bearden on her graduation from |
|
|
Allen High School and extend to her sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Bearden as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
