R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Longstanding local businesses play a vital role in |
|
|
the prosperity of the Lone Star State, and Loewy Law Firm is |
|
|
celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Established by Adam Loewy in 2005, the law practice |
|
|
specializes in personal injury cases; a graduate of The University |
|
|
of Texas at Austin School of Law, Mr. Loewy has been recognized as a |
|
|
Texas Super Lawyer for nine consecutive years, and he is the |
|
|
recipient of the David H. Walter Community Excellence Award from |
|
|
the Austin Bar Association; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through the years, Mr. Loewy and his wife, Phil, |
|
|
have generously supported philanthropic endeavors, including the |
|
|
establishment of the Loewy Family Playground in Northwest Hills and |
|
|
the Loewy Law Firm Garden Building at the Central Texas Food Bank; |
|
|
moreover, Mr. Loewy endowed the Loewy Law Firm Scholarship at the |
|
|
UT School of Law in 2024, and the practice is also a corporate |
|
|
sponsor of Texas Longhorn Athletics and the Moody Center; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Adam Loewy has built a prominent legal practice |
|
|
while giving back to the community, and he may reflect with pride on |
|
|
his firm's success over the past two decades; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commemorate the 20th anniversary of Loewy Law |
|
|
Firm and extend to Adam Loewy and all those associated with the |
|
|
practice sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the firm as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
