A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to allowing a member of the State Board of Education to |
|
|
employ a person to assist in performing the member's duties. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 7, Education Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Section 7.1051 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 7.1051. STAFF. Each member of the board may employ one |
|
|
person to assist the member in performing the duties and |
|
|
accomplishing the purposes of the office. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
