HB2239 by Dutton (Relating to the locations in which certain knives are prohibited.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would provide an exception to the applicability of the criminal prohibition against location-restricted knives on the premises of an amusement park or of a business permitted or licensed to sell or service, and deriving 51 percent or more of its income from the sale of, alcoholic beverages for on-site consumption. 

It is assumed that any fiscal impact and any impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources would not be significant.  

Local Government Impact

It is assumed that any fiscal impact to units of local government associated with enforcement, prosecution, supervision, or confinement would not be significant.
