The bill would amend the Election Code related to political contributions by certain out of state contributors and would provide for a civil penalty.

According to the Office of Court Administration, no significant fiscal impact on the state court system is anticipated.

According to the Texas Ethics Commission, no significant fiscal impact to the agency is anticipated.
