No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would entitle an appraisal district, an appraisal review board, or chief appraiser that prevails in an appeal of unequal appraisal to reasonable attorney's fees not to exceed $100,000. 

Local Government Impact

An appraisal district that prevails in an appeal of unequal appraisal would be entitled reasonable attorney's fees to offset litigation costs.
