No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would repeal sections of the Family Code and Penal Code that allow enhancement of punishments based on adjudications for which a youth was sent to the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD). 

No significant fiscal impact to TJJD is anticipated.

According to the Office of Court Administration, no significant fiscal impact to the state court system is anticipated.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
