No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
This bill would direct the Department of Public Safety (DPS) to establish a digital identification program for the issuance of certain digital licenses. Under the provisions of the bill, DPS is authorized to charge a fee.
It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
