No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would prohibit any portion of the chief appraiser's compensation from being directly or indirectly linked to the expectation of an increase in the total market, appraised, or taxable value of a property in the appraisal district.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
