Pursuant to a notice posted on July 18, 2025, the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Guillen, at 1:13 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Guillen; Guerra; Cain; Kitzman; Lopez, Janie; and McLaughlin.

A quorum was present.

The Chair made opening remarks.

Representative Dorazio and Representative Wharton were also in attendance.

The committee heard invited testimony on New World Screwworm.

At 4:49 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
