Pursuant to a notice posted on August 25, 2025, and permission granted on August 25, 2025, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hunter, at 9:31 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Hunter; Rose; Gerdes; Harris; Hernandez; Leach; Lopez, Janie; Romero; and Tepper.

A quorum was present.

Representative Hunter moved to place the following measures: 

on the General State Calendar for Wednesday, August 27, 2025:  HB 25, HB 26, HB 48, HB 149, HB 192, HB 254.

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Hunter; Gerdes; Harris; Leach; Lopez, Janie; Tepper (6).

Nays:                           Representatives Rose; Hernandez; Romero (3).

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

Absent:                        Representatives Canales; Johnson (2).

At 9:32 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
