Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on August 28, 2025, and permission granted on August 28, 2025, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hunter, at 1:47 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Hunter; Rose; Gerdes; Harris; Leach; Lopez, Janie; Romero; and Tepper.

A quorum was present.

Representative Hunter moved to place the following measures: 

on the General State Calendar for Tuesday, September 2, 2025:  HB 18, SB 54.

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays:                           Representatives Rose; Romero (2).

Absent:                        Representatives Canales; Hernandez; Johnson (3).

At 1:48 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
