            House Bill 1076 amend the Health and Safety Code to remove the limitation on the grade levels at which a public or private school student must undergo the mandatory spinal screening and to instead require the executive commissioner of the Health and Human Services Commission to consider specified scientific research in determining the appropriate ages for conducting the screening and develop, in cooperation with the Texas Education Agency, a process to notify a parent, managing conservator, or guardian of information relating to the screening.
