House Bill 1103 amends the Code of Criminal Procedure to require a judge who grants community supervision to a person convicted of certain offenses involving animal cruelty to require the person to attend a responsible pet owner course sponsored by a municipal animal shelter that receives federal, state, county, or municipal funds and that serves the county in which the court is located.
