            House Bill 1380 amends the Code of Criminal Procedure to specify that money deposited in a municipal court building security fund may be used only for security items related to municipal court buildings and that money deposited in a courthouse security fund may be used only for security items related to district, county, and justice court buildings.  The bill further provides that operations of a district, county, or justice court include the activities of certain associate judges, masters, magistrates, referees, hearing officers, criminal law magistrate court judges, and masters in chancery.  The bill requires that a local administrative judge provide a written report regarding certain security incidents to the Office of Court Administration of the Texas Judicial System not later than the third business day after the date the incident occurred.
