House Bill 1522 amends the Government Code to revise the three‑day posting requirement for notice of a meeting of a governmental body under state open meetings law and to require the notice posted for a meeting at which a governmental body will discuss or adopt a budget to include a physical copy of the proposed budget and a specified taxpayer impact statement, with certain exceptions.
