Current law prescribes conditions for the type of newspaper required for publication of a government notice generally and different conditions applicable in certain counties. House Bill 1812 amends the Government Code to extend the application of the provisions that apply to certain counties to a county that does not have a newspaper published in the county that meets the conditions that are applicable generally.
