House Bill 1819 amends the Local Government Code to prohibit a political subdivision from adopting or enforcing a measure that imposes a curfew to regulate the movements or actions of persons younger than 18 years of age, except for a curfew implemented under the Texas Disaster Act of 1975 for purposes of emergency management. The bill amends the Code of Criminal Procedure, Family Code, Government Code, and Penal Code to make conforming changes.
