Under current law, a person convicted of not more than one Alcoholic Beverage Code violation while a minor, on attaining the age of 21 years, may apply to the court in which the person was convicted to have the conviction expunged. House Bill 2059, among other provisions, amends the Alcoholic Beverage Code to authorize a person placed under arrest for not more than one such violation while a minor and who was not convicted of the violation to apply to the court in which the person was charged to have the records of the arrest expunged.
