            House Bill 2849 amends the Family Code to require the rules adopted by the executive commissioner of the Health and Human Services Commission, for purposes of the central registry of the names of individuals found by the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) to have abused or neglected a child, to require DFPS within a certain timeframe to remove a person's name from the registry after DFPS receives notice that a finding of abuse or neglect against the person is overturned in a review, hearing, or appeal and to make updates to any relevant DFPS files to reflect such an overturned finding.
