            House Bill 3171 amends the Transportation Code and Finance Code to eliminate the moped license and to remove the authorization to operate a moped under the authority of a Class A, B, C, and M driver's license or a commercial driver's license or permit. The bill revises the definition of "moped" for purposes of statutory provisions governing the rules of the road and requires the comptroller of public accounts to transfer any necessary amount to the Texas mobility fund from the general revenue fund.
