House Bill 3231 amends current state firearms prevention statutes within the Local Government Code to more closely align limitations on municipal and county regulatory authority, expand the scope of those limitations, and authorize the attorney general to recover reasonable expenses incurred in obtaining an injunction against a municipality or county for adopting a regulation prohibited under those limitations.
