House Bill 4057 amends the Local Government Code to authorize, with certain exception, the owner of a property that is located in the City of Houston and is included within the boundaries of an applicable local preservation district authorized by ordinance to elect to exclude the property from the district by filing an applicable acknowledged statement in the county's real property records.
