House Bill 4504, a continuation of the legislature's ongoing statutory revision program, provides for the nonsubstantive revision of the Code of Criminal Procedure, including conforming amendments to other enacted codes. The bill nonsubstantively revises laws governing general powers and duties of peace officers, law enforcement interactions with public, venue, change of venue, justice and municipal courts, and expunction of criminal records.
