            House Bill 4545 amends the Labor Code to change the deadline by which a party must file a suit to seek judicial review of an appeal in an adjudication proceeding under the Texas Workers' Compensation Act to not later than the 45th day after the date on which the division of workers' compensation of the Texas Department of Insurance mailed the party the decision of the appeals panel, rather than not later than the 40th day after the date on which the decision of the appeals panel was filed with the division. The bill specifies that the mailing date is considered to be the fifth day after the date the decision of the appeals panel was filed with the division.
