House Bill 523 amends the Government Code to require an elected school district board of trustees for a school district that has an enrollment of 10,000 or more to make a video and audio recording of each open meeting that is a work session or special called meeting in which the board votes on any matter or allows public comment or testimony and to make available an archived copy of the video and audio recording of such a meeting on the Internet.
