House Bill 676 amends the Transportation Code to raise the speed limits for trucks on highways to be the same as for passenger cars. The act also lowers the speed limit for vehicles operating on a beach to 15 miles per hour, sets the same speed for vehicles operating on a road that is adjacent to a beach, if declared by a county commissioners court, and changes certain requirements relating to procedures to alter speed limits.
