            House Bill 867 amends the Education Code to provide for the appointment of school marshals in private schools. The bill revises the cap on the number of school marshals that may be appointed by a school district or open-enrollment charter school and specifies that ammunition carried by a school marshal must be approved by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.
