House Bill 878 amends the law relating to the Sweeny Hospital District to authorize the district to provide for the security and payment of district bonds from a pledge of property taxes, revenue, or other sources, and to specify the allowable uses of bond proceeds. The bill authorizes the district to borrow money and to use certain revenue, taxes, or bonds to secure a loan and establishes loan maturity dates.
