            House Bill 967 amends the Code of Criminal Procedure to add a defendant's state identification number and incident number if either number has been assigned at the time of the judgment to the list of items that a written judgment of a court must reflect.  The bill requires the Department of Information Resources to publish monthly on the Department of Public Safety's Internet website or on another electronic publication a report listing each arrest by local jurisdiction for which there is no corresponding final disposition, for use in determining the status of outstanding dispositions.

            House Bill 967 amends the Transportation Code to require the Department of Public Safety to accept as satisfactory proof of identity an offender identification card or similar form of identification issued to an inmate by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice when an application is made for a driver's license or commercial driver's license.
