House Joint Resolution 133 proposes an amendment to the Texas Constitution to authorize the legislature by general law to entitle the surviving spouse of a veteran of the U.S. armed services who died as a result of a service-connected condition or disease to a property tax exemption of all or part of the market value of the surviving spouse's residence homestead.
