Enrolled Bill Summary

Senate Bill 109 amends the Health and Safety Code to permit a public member of the long-term care legislative oversight committee to be reimbursed for travel expenses incurred while conducting committee business at the rate established in the General Appropriations Act.

The act also includes provisions relating to the authority of the Texas Department of Human Services to assess an administrative penalty for certain rules violations.
