Enrolled Bill Summary

Senate Bill 1316 adds a new section to the Water Code to authorize a water district director to elect to receive a per diem of $100 for each day the director actually spends performing the duties of a director. The act limits the total of per diems received to $6,000, except for certain special water authority directors, and requires that a director file with the district a general description of the duties performed for each day of services in order to receive the per diem.
