            Senate Bill 1328 requires the Department of State Health Services to conduct a study to determine the feasibility of providing vaccines to a first responder who may be exposed to preventable diseases during deployment to a disaster area and the first responder's immediate family members.  The bill identifies vaccines to be considered by the study and specifies assessment, evaluation, and recommendation requirements.  The bill requires the designated statewide wellness coordinator to assist the department in obtaining data from state agencies that employ first responders.  The department is required to submit a written report to the legislature containing the study's findings and recommendations not later than August 1, 2011.  The bill's provisions expire September 1, 2011.
