Senate Bill 1465 amends the Tax Code to require a board of directors of certain reinvestment zones under the Tax Increment Financing Act to notify an applicable member of the state senate or state house of representatives of the person's ex officio membership on the board within a certain timeframe of the member's election. A member may choose not to serve on the board or to designate another individual to serve in the member's place and, in such an event, must timely notify the board of the choice.
