Senate Bill 1867 amends provisions of the Local Government Code relating to county regulation of subdivisions. The bill authorizes a commissioners court to approve and issue an amending plat for certain purposes and makes other revisions to a commissioners court's authority with regard to plats. The bill also authorizes a commissioners court to require a limited fire suppression system in certain subdivisions. In addition, the bill repeals a provision that made state law on infrastructure planning provisions applicable only to certain counties.
