Senate Bill 2361 amends the Education Code to provide for the transfer of the University of Houston--Victoria to The Texas A&M University System. The bill's provisions take effect September 1, 2025, except for a provision requiring the Employees Retirement System of Texas to provide the applicable systems certain information regarding the transfer of employee group benefits coverage, which takes effect May 27, 2025.
