Senate Bill 3059 amends the Government Code and Transportation Code, and transfers, redesignates, and repeals provisions of the Natural Resources Code and repeals certain session law which amended the Code of Criminal Procedure, to transfer jurisdiction of the Alamo complex from the General Land Office to the Alamo Commission, which is established by the bill for the preservation, maintenance, restoration, and protection of the Alamo complex and its contents and is administratively attached to the State Preservation Board. The bill sets out provisions relating to this new commission and provides for the transfer of jurisdiction.
