Senate Bill 325 amends the Government Code to require the Office of Court Administration of the Texas Judicial System (OCA) to establish and maintain a centralized, publicly accessible, internet‑based registry for applications for protective orders filed or issued in Texas on or after September 1, 2020. Implementation of a provision of this bill by OCA is mandatory only if a specific appropriation is made for that purpose.
