Senate Bill 771 amends the Government Code to authorize the Texas Commission on the Arts to license to a private vendor, for a fee, the use of its name, logo, or other artwork or graphics. The use of the licensed property must be consistent with the mission of the commission. The act also allows the commission to purchase and resell items for the promotion of the arts, provided that its inventory does not exceed $50,000 at the end of any fiscal year.
