            Previous law established a $25 late fee if an inventory and appraisement in a probate action is filed more than 120 days after the date the probate action is filed.  Senate Bill 819 amends the Government Code and the Local Government Code to make the late fee applicable only if the instrument is filed after the 90th day after the date the personal representative has qualified to serve or, if the court grants an extension, after the date of the extended deadline.
