Senate Bill 908 amends the Health and Safety Code to authorize the Texas Department of Health to inspect a hospital that is currently exempt from annual inspection requirements before renewing the hospital's license if the hospital has not been inspected by the Medicare certification or accreditation body in the past three years and is not scheduled for such an inspection within 60 days.
