Senate Bill 930 amends the Health and Safety Code to establish that certain information regarding the occurrence of communicable diseases in a licensed nursing facility, continuing care facility, or assisted living facility is not considered protected health information for purposes of medical records privacy protections and to establish disclosure requirements for that information.
